I love the reminder to prioritize sleep over any other plans. When I was healing from burnout, it was the most important thing I did. Now that I live in my post-burnout recovery, whenever I start feeling those burnout feelings, sleep is often the solution, even if I have all these other plans. Thank you!
My dreams are always like…I have arms full of sick kittens and no carrier, I’m trying to cross the street to get them to the vet, but one climbs out of my arms, I run through traffic to pick it up and another one jumps out, and repeat 😅 or babies, or puppies, I think at one point there were baby snakes or lizards or something 😅 teacher/compulsive caregiver dreams are the BEST 🥴
Love the suggestion to work with dreams. It isn’t talked about just enough. I’ve been working with my dreams, on and off, for several years, and it’s more rewarding than any “rational” approach to self-healing.
One of my two Substack newsletters is dedicated to dream work, where I hope to document my experiments with dreams over the years.

Digesting our dreams is SUCH an interesting habit to add!
Thank you for all that you do! I love the both of you. I listen to your podcast Feminist Survival Project. Love it. Stronger than the fire!!!

I love these practice ideas. I've been obsessively thinking (and writing) about practices all week.
Yes, yes, and F*CK YES to all of the above. Thanks for sharing!
And I hope y'all get some restorative times...
I love the novelty of these recommendations. Thanks for sharing
Wonderful suggestions. I have a new word for what I do, I cannot help but do because of my pain: interception. 🙏

Easy on the first one: wake up…
Practices have the power to shape who we are and who we aspire to become.
